The 10-Point Supplier Vetting Checklist

Use this checklist for every new Vietnam supplier to minimize UFLPA detention risk.

Phase 1: Corporate Identity

Have you obtained the supplier's Tax ID (MST)? Is the company status "Active" (Đang hoạt động) on the National Portal? Does the company age exceed 2 years? (Avoids "burner" entities).

Phase 2: Operational Capacity

Do they hold a Manufacturing VSIC Code (10xx-33xx)? Have you verified the factory location via Satellite Imagery? Is the Charter Capital sufficient to support the machinery required?

Phase 3: UFLPA & Sanctions

Is the Legal Representative clear of the UFLPA Entity List? Does the supplier use Decree 123 Electronic Invoices?
